Los Angeles, CA - Budding dance/pop, singer/songwriter Mina Koo is blazing
a trail on the road to stardom with the release of her very first self-titled
album debuting her lead single, "More Than A Crush" available on iTunes May 17th.
The physical LP will feature a full 10 page full glossy booklet complete with
images and lyrics. The album will also be available for download on Amazon, Spotify
and Google Play. Mina's bright personality and knack for being eccentric paired
with her ambition and talent is a surefire combination for pop diva status.
The sultry singer is vying for
the top spot on the dance charts with the introduction of her first ever album;
a vibrant compilation of club bangers delivering an undeniable yet
unintentional sexiness contradicting her shy demeanor. On the album Mina showcases
hot-under-the-collar lyrics and infectious synths and drums with the occasional
guitars and percussion. Each song on the eight track album reveals a different dynamic
of Mina's personality. In the lead single, "More Than a Crush", Mina serenades
her crush by admitting her desire for him singing, "Your sugar lips melt me,
I've got more than a crush." This track appeals to lovers in the club. The
track was co-written and co-produced by Mina's friend, Swedish
producer/writer Björn Zetterström. Another stand-out single, "Suddenly", has aggressive sound and triggers
impressive performance in the vein of Lady Gaga where "Beautiful Thing" bears
the combination of various vocal tones similar to Shakira and the lyricism of
Michael Jackson.
Born in Korea, Mina spent time in Seoul where the soaked up the fumes
of the exciting urban night life developing her love for the dance/pop scene.
Mina is an explorer and her curiosity and worldliness has taken her to the UK, Turkey,
China, Central Asia and Japan. Los
Angeles is Mina's home base now and the place where she has sunk her teeth into
becoming an artist. She uses her multi-cultural experiences to influence her
music. Mina is more than what meets the eye; the owner of a black belt in
Taekwondo is also a dancer/yogi and an advocate of a healthy lifestyle. She was
first introduced to music by her aunt who was a musician herself, a major
